Great news for our community!
After listening to residents and completing negotiations with the Methodist Church Trustees, the Parish Council has agreed a £90,000 purchase price for the Methodist Church building on Jacksons Lane.
The building is being purchased from Council reserve funds and grant funding from the East Lindsey Investment Fund.
This means we can move forward with creating a permanent, improved community hub to will eventually replace the temporary building at Tinkers Green. The new space will include:
- our library,
- the Clerk’s office, and
- a community room for local groups and events.
Solicitors have now been instructed, and the purchase process has officially begun.
