The Mayor and Councillors of Burgh le Marsh share with everyone the very sad news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
We offer our sincere condolences to her family.
During her 70 years of reign, the Queen has been a symbol of stability and a magnificent example of dedication.
For many people, her long reign has meant that she has been the only monarch they will have known and her passing will be a landmark point in all our lives.
As a mark of our respect, the union flag will be flown at half-mast in our Market Place until the day following the funeral.
